Escape to a Second Home

We live in a fast paced, high tech, complex world. Responsibilities, deadlines and over crowded conditions have become a way of life. We need a getaway place, a place to escape! This place is located in a pristine natural environment that provides relief from the stress of congested traffic and never-ending commutes. This place provides the opportunity to relax and spend time with family and re-connect with nature, to focus on a healthier lifestyle. A Stephen Fuller designed Second Home is that place!

Our Second Home plans are ideal for locations, ranging from Coastal, Low Country living, to Lakeside and Mountain View settings.

Each of these locations requires a uniquely styled house to match the context and feel at one with the natural settings. It is imperative for a second home to respect and blend with nature in order to feel unified and original to its site. To that end, we take great care to be certain our homes down play their connection to the automobile. We choose exterior styles and enduring materials that are inspired by nature and become more attractive with time.

Inside, our Second Homes are open spacious and very livable. They are designed to foster informal gathering, dining, and relaxation. They include strong connections to large outdoor living spaces and exterior focal points.

Interior millwork is styled to bring the natural themes inside, completing the cues given to us by Mother Nature. As always, each site and each homeowner is unique, therefore it is impossible to have a “one size fits all” approach to second home design.
